Terry Richardson x N.E.R.D. "NOTHING"
Famed photographer Terry Richardson shot the cover art for what has been confirmed as N.E.R.D.’s fourth upcoming album “Nothing”, dropping at musical retailers in the coming months. This caps of a extremely busy profile raising year for Terry Richardson who’s lens has fast become the eye in which we see todays pop icons. N.E.R.D. are in Europe next week @ Orange RockCorps, Paris and an...

Iron Man Anime
I totally slept on this collaboration since the 2009 teaser trailer, only to have a quick search today and see that more info came out at San Diego Comic Con a few months ago, including new footage. I’m not a big Anime fan, so the otaku thought that all Anime should be based on intellectual properties solely from Japan is wasted on me. Personally, I love Madhouse’s previous...

OriginalFake x Medicom Toy Company: Pinocchio &...
On Saturday morning I was lucky enough to cop one of these sets from The Hideout, London. It’s beautifully made and is already being sold for 5x the retail price on the auction market. It’s no big shock as New York artist KAWS continues to grow in popularity. A HUGE thanks to my buddy Declan Khan for making it happen.

KM3D-1
AnOther Magazine, artist/filmmaker Baillie Walsh and supermodel Kate Moss delve into the increasingly popular 3-D format with the creation of this 3-D short film titled, KM3D-1. The film focuses on one of fashion’s most recognisable faces (South London’s Kate Moss) captured at a rate of 1,000 frames per second. AnOther Magazine - “Suspended in time and space, Kate is caught inexorably in the...

Sex: Our Bodies, Our Junk
You know how every year (if we’re lucky) a humor book comes out that becomes a must-have? Not a book about comedy but a book that is itself a work of comedy. The kind of book that somehow penetrates the public consciousness to the point that your uncle gives you a copy for Christmas? Sex: Our Bodies, Our Junk has a comedic pedigree that will make comedy fans drool, with a list of...

Howl | Allen Ginsberg Biopic
September 25th see’s the opening of the Allen Ginsberg biopic ‘Howl’. The film looks back at the Beat Generation writers influential career and life, centered around the obscenity trial Ginsberg faced after the publication of his poem, Howl. In 1955 Allan Ginsberg sat in a cafe in Berkeley California and wrote a poem. He was asked to perform the poem at a reading and at first refused, but...

Apple Store Covent Garden
This week I had the opportunity to visit Apple’s new flagship store in Covent Garden. Spread over two floors, the Apple Store Covent Garden features beautifully restored masonry, with stone arches inside and out. It’s a masterful blend of old and new, which suits the environs of Covent Garden. Not only did the decor blow me away but so did the customer service. The advisors there ran...

Janelle Monáe Showcase @ GAP Bond Street
Got to check out a music showcase of Janelle Monae presented by GAP (two years on from a sublime performance in L.A.). I remember people before the show expecting typical music but what they witnessed was something sublime. Blown away once again by the energy of her live performance and the tightness of her backing band. This girl Is The Future.

Mad Men: Season 4
The US networks have had it for a few weeks now, but finally season 4 of Mad Men airs for us brits tomorrow night on BBC FOUR and BBC HD at 10pm. While I’m excited for it being shown by the BBC, my biggest gripe is that it’s been relegated to BBC FOUR. This is such a celebrated series and with good reason that there really is no excuse from the BBC’s programmers. I can’t...

Buried
Buried, is a wildly claustrophobic film about a U.S. citizen in Iraq, taken captive and buried alive in a box. With only two items to help him escape — someone else’s mobile phone and a lighter — he is involved with a fight for survival. In Ryan Reynolds’ solo performance, his character doesn’t really know how he got into this mess or what the enemy wants from him so...

Just to keep everyone in the loop. The project is going well thus far. Already have some partnerships confirmed and the first collaboration in the works. Please link the blog to as many people as you know. Lost in Translation Blu-Ray Announced
This is some damn-hot news! I don’t have a lot of time on my hands to wax rhapsodic about it today, but I’ve got to let you know that Amazon has just listed Sofia Coppola‘s brilliant Lost in Translation  for a U.S. Blu-ray release this December 7th!! I’m so stoked! That’s right – I just wrote the word “stoked.” That’s how out-of-my-mind this news makes me. This is honestly one of my all time...

Boxed Water Is Better
So, I’m pretty obsessed with bottled water since I quit carbonated drinks. Disturbingly though, those little bottles just build up, and honestly, that can’t be good for the environment. Check out Boxed Water Is Better. Part sustainable water company, part art project, part philanthropic project, and completely curious. Boxed Water Is Better, is a boxed water company and I for one hope that...

Blue Belle Cafe
Today I took a walk around my local high street. While on the surface it consists of charity shops, fast food and pawn brokers, just around the corner in Maple Rd a community of diverse shops and cafes is slowly building in the old market space. Blue Belle Cafe sets itself apart from other cafe’s in the area. It’s peaceful, clean, reasonably priced and so far away from your typical greasy...

Never Let Me Go (Mark Romanek)
Don’t let the appearance of a frolicking good time at the shore fool you. The film, set for a Oct. 13th Opening Galla European Premier at the 54th BFI London Film Festival, is an adaptation of the Kazuo Ishiguro novel about English schoolchildren who grow up knowing they are special but perhaps don’t fully understand the future that awaits them.
